John Haluck is a partner with the firm, with 30+ years of trial experience, a majority of which has been in business litigation and for the insurance defense industry. Mr. Haluck presently handles business matters, defends commercial truckers in northern California, and handles all sorts of high exposure insurance defense matters for some of the largest insurance companies in the United States. In addition, he has more than two decades of experience in general business litigation, medical malpractice defense, employment law and defense of Americans with Disabilities Act claims, and defense of all sorts of general liability and wrongful death claims.
Mr. Haluck attended Loyola University in Los Angeles, where upon graduation in 1973, John was commissioned an officer in the United States Air Force and flew C-5 cargo jets, before being selected for the Air Force funded legal education program. John Haluck attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law while on active duty and began his legal career as an Air Force Judge Advocate in 1979. In 1986, after more than 12 years on active duty, and seven years as a JAG, John joined the California Air National Guard, became the state Air Staff Judge Advocate, and in 1991, Lieutenant Colonel Haluck was named the Outstanding Reserve Judge Advocate in the entire nation. He retired from service to his country in 1996. He has been in private practice since leaving active duty in 1986.
John has been married for more than 30 years and has three grown children. He and his wife Yvette are enjoying their grandchildren.
