Zachary Schwartz grew up in Denver, Colorado before moving to California to attend the University of Southern California. Having enjoyed the beautiful weather, Zachary pursued his law degree at Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. While at Chapman, Zachary competed on the school’s Moot Court and Mock Trial teams while also becoming a Senior Articles Editor for the Chapman Law Review. Zachary also spent time in Chapman’s award winning Mediation Clinic working as a court mediator in the Riverside County Superior Court where he mediated over 45 cases ranging from debt collection disputes to civil restraining orders. Zachary graduated in 2012 and finished ranked second in his class.
As an associate at Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck, LLP, Zachary dove head first into the firm's Government Tort Liability section, litigating cases on behalf of the County of Orange, while also working with the firm’s excellent construction defect attorneys.
Zachary and his wife met while at USC and remain proud alumni, even having the Trojan Marching Band perform at their wedding. When they are not attending USC football games, they enjoy going on walks and hikes with their dog, sailing, and watching TV together. Zachary also enjoys golfing.
