John M. Sticht joined the Phoenix office of Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson and Haluck, LLP as an associate in 2015. A native to Arizona, John attended the University of Arizona graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 1993 and a Master of Science in Sports Administration in 1995. Thereafter, John worked in the insurance industry handling litigated tort claims. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude and with a Certificate in Law, Science and Technology, from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2004. While attending law school, John also served as an editor on Law Review.
Since graduating from law school, John has successfully represented a wide variety of business and insurance clients in various matters involving commercial, construction, surety, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance liability, coverage and bad faith litigation and resolution. He currently represents builders, developers, and general contractors in construction defect litigation and other construction-related matters. He has also served on State Bar of Arizona Committee on Persons with Disabilities in the Legal Profession (2005 to 2011) and Executive Council of the Construction Law Section (2011 to the present). John has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a 2014 & 2015 Southwest “Rising Star.”
In his spare time, John enjoys home remodeling, exercise, disability and diversity advocacy, golf, reading, dogs, travel, and being a devoted husband to his wife Mandy and father to his young son and daughter, Joshua and Anessa.
