Kelly Gales is an associate with the firm’s Irvine office, handling construction litigation and general defense cases. Prior to joining Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck, Ms. Gales was a Deputy City Attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office in the Employment Litigation Section. Ms. Gales graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and she received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine Law School, where she also received a certificate in Dispute Resolution. While at Pepperdine, Ms. Gales was a member of the Moot Court Team in which she competed nationally. She placed high in major competitions including second place at the Braxton Craven Memorial Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition where she argued in the North Carolina Supreme Court. Ms. Gales was chosen by faculty to be a member of the Order of Barristers for her oral advocacy skills. She also served as Interschool Chair of the Moot Court Board and President of Advocates for Public Interest Law. Ms. Gales was also an extern for the Honorable Arthur Greenwald in the United States Bankruptcy Court.
In her spare time, Ms. Gales enjoys running, cooking and spending time with her husband and daughter.
