On November 13, 2008, at its Annual Legal Summit attended by law firms from all areas of the country, Pulte Homes recognized Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck with its annual law firm of the year award. This was the second such award received by the firm in three years. The firm consistently achieved success this year on all of its Pulte and Del Webb related matters.

Notable among the achievements was the verdict in the nine month long jury trial of G. Hayward v. Del Webb. Further accomplishments on behalf of Pulte / Del Webb included the favorable settlement of the Kitec Plumbing Class Action, a plumbing case involving no less than 7,000 homes in Clark County. Another achievement was found in connection with the Wolfe v. Del Webb matter. Wolfe involved over 1,000 homeowners suing for construction defects related to the Sun City Palm Desert. Lawyers from KNCH secured 100% of Del Webb's defense fees and costs to be paid pursuant to additional insured funding agreements.

The firm sincerely appreciates the opportunity to work with Pulte and Del Webb on these challenging and intriguing defense matters. We look forward to our continued relationship with this leader in the building industry.
