Upon joining the Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck team in Miami office, Alexandria brings experience in all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, mediation, motions for summary judgment, and trial. Previously, she served as the Felony Assistant State Attorney and senior management in the 16th Judicial Circuit. Previously, Alexandria practiced in complex business and healthcare litigation.
Alexandria has a strong work ethic and is dedicated to the practice of law. As a Prosecutor, she was successful in trying felony cases and mentoring misdemeanor attorneys. In the private sector, Alexandria was successful in obtaining both dismissals and judgments in favor of her clients. Her training as a Florida Circuit Court Mediator has assisted her clients in successfully negotiating and settling cases when appropriate. She has exhibited initiative in arguing motions and handling trial matters in both Miami Dade and Monroe County, Florida.
She was born in San Jose, California but became a Floridian early on and is the youngest of six siblings. Her professional career began as a public middle school teacher for ten years before she entered the healthcare sector in pharmaceutical sales and eventually earned her law degree, cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law. As a second-year law student, Alexandria was selected to serve as an Assisted Learning Instructor for first-year law students and assisted in pro bono clinics, as well as serving on an e-Board for the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Upon commencing her legal practice, she continued to give back to her community as an annual guest speaker on behalf of the Miami Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust. Most recently, Alexandria was appointed to the Board of Trustees for the College of the Florida Keys.
Alexandria is the recipient of numerous accolades such as a 2019 Lawyer of Distinction in Civil Litigation Award and 2016 Client Choice Award in Healthcare Law. Outside of advocating for clients, Alexandria enjoys spending time with her family and camping with her husband.
