Meet August C. Wissmath

August C. Wissmath

August is an associate in Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP’s Sacramento office where he works on a variety of projects including areas of law such as construction defect defense, public entity defense, consumer protections defense, and residential liability defense.

He is a self-proclaimed workaholic, who is deeply committed to using the law for the equitable distribution of justice for all persons.  August is a rule fanatic and WestLaw guru who enjoys deep dives into statutes, case law, and legislative histories.

August was born and raised in the Sacramento Valley where he attended C.K. McClatchy High School and competed as a nationally ranked policy debater.  Since then he was spent significant time working with disadvantaged youth teaching debate and oral advocacy skills at Title I schools around the country.  He is a double Aggie who attended UC Davis for both Undergrad and Law School. As a recovering Art History Major and incorrigible coffee addict, he can be found on his days off drinking espresso and exploring the local art scene.

August is a big fan of early Twentieth Century cinema, is an avid audiophile who cannot be separated from his headphones, and a fond appreciator of cats large and small.  Proud of his East Asian roots, August spends more money than he should at South and East Asian restaurants.
