Jay is a partner at Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck LLP in the San Diego office. He has represented clients in construction litigation and arbitration involving construction defects, manufacturing and design product defects, contract disputes, and delay claims. Jay has also represented clients in litigation and arbitration involving personal injury claims related to jobsite accidents, premises liability, chemical exposure, automobile accidents, and product defects. He primarily handles complex defect claims involving scientific, engineering, architectural, mechanical and related issues for builders, developers and manufacturers.
Jay is dedicated to providing the best representation for his clients through hard work, preparation, strong advocacy and a detailed knowledge of the issues and law. He believes his strong work ethic, ability to effectively deal with people, experience, understanding of complex technical issues and attention to detail from case inception through trial, provide the most effective and successful representation.
Jay is a graduate of the University of Georgia, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and is a graduate of California Western School of Law, summa cum laude, with a Juris Doctorate. While attending California Western School of Law, he was a writer and the Associate Notes and Comment Editor for the California Western Law Review. In addition, Jay was an intern clerk for the Honorable Irma E. Gonzalez, U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.
Jay and his wife, Wendy, have three children; Cate, Will, and Samantha. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys hiking, trail running, endurance races, golf, and tennis.
