Jerry is a partner with Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP in the Sacramento office. He began his legal career in San Diego, California, but returned to Northern California in 2005 to open and manage the Northern California offices of KNCH. Jerry handles a wide variety of litigation including business disputes, breach of contract claims, construction defect, general liability, real estate, contractor lien and bond claims, construction accidents, toxic tort litigation and mortgage disputes. He also handles a full spectrum of transactional matters including business and corporate formation, real estate transactions, contract preparation and licensing compliance. As part of his administrative law practice, Jerry has extensive experience before both the Department of Real Estate and the Contractors State License Board.
He has significant trial experience, having prepared for and conducted numerous trials and arbitrations. He is also very experienced in ADR, including mediation, settlement conferences, and non-binding arbitrations.
Jerry grew up in Northern California and graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1992 and from the University San Diego School of Law in 1996. He spent one summer during this time studying International Law at the University of Oxford. While he was there he ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
When away from work, he enjoys spending time with his children, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and golf.
