Matt is an associate with Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck in the Orlando office, and focuses his practice in the areas of construction, general liability and commercial litigation. Matt has successfully represented numerous insurance companies in a variety of cases, demonstrating a keen understanding of both the legal complexities and practical aspects of each matter.
He believes a meticulous approach integrating diligence, preparation, perspective, and effective communication is key to the practice of law and effective representation.
Matt is a native Floridian, born and raised in Central Florida. He earned his B.A. in Political Science, Pre-Law from the University of Central Florida. He then attended Barry University School of Law on an academic scholarship. While in law school, Matt served as a teacher’s assistant and research assistant, as well as interned with a local practice focusing on workers’ compensation claims for first responders. Prior to joining KNCH, he gained invaluable litigation experience at a Florida-based insurance defense firm.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and children. In addition, he is an avid sports fan, cheering on the Florida Gators and Orlando Magic, and enjoys traveling, fishing, surfing, and spending time outdoors.
