Michael is an associate with Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck in the Orlando office. Before joining KNCH, Michael practiced commercial litigation as well as civil and criminal appeals.
He is a firm believer in the importance of hard-work, integrity, and dedication. As a result, Michael has exhibited very persuasive writing skills and has successfully argued matters in the trial courts and the appellate courts of Florida.
Michael grew up in the town of Cheraw, South Carolina. Before becoming an attorney, he practiced as a nurse for seven years in assisted living communities and rehabilitation facilities.
Michael attended college at Northeastern Technical College, where he studied nursing, and Kaplan University, where he earned his B.S. in Paralegal Studies. He then attended Florida Coastal School of Law, where in addition to earning his law degree, Michael served as a Staff Editor of Law Review, Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Honor Board, Judicial Intern to the Honorable Harvey E. Schlesinger of the Middle District Court of Florida, and Teaching Assistant in Litigation Drafting.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and daughter and reading constitutional and judicial commentary.
