Mitchell is an associate with Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP in the San Francisco Bay Area Group, a satellite of the firm’s Sacramento office. His practice areas include Construction Claims & Litigation, Catastrophic Injury & Accident Litigation, and Professional Liability.
His varied legal experience has allowed him to maintain a holistic, comprehensive perspective on his cases. He has experience with personal injury and motor vehicle torts; labor issues and employment discrimination; issues affecting public entities; and the regulatory sector.
Mitchell was born and raised in California’s San Joaquin Valley. He earned a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of California, Davis. He then earned his J.D. at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (then UC Hastings), where he was active in the moot court competition program. During law school, he was a senior editor for Hastings Law Journal and an extern for the Hon. James M. Humes of the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District.
Mitchell lives in the Bay Area with his wife and son. His many interests include cooking, movies, the theatre, and the Golden State Warriors. He also teaches legal research and writing to first-year J.D. candidates at UC Law SF.
