Ryan began practicing with Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP in January of 2018. Since then, he has gained experience in handling a variety of complex issues associated with both pre-trial and trial procedure. He has led both expert and witness depositions, prepared motions on a wide range of procedural and substantive issues, argued before multiple district courts in the State of Texas, and has sat second chair and participated in trial proceedings in Travis County, Texas. Ryan’s practice primarily involves defense representation in business, construction defect, personal injury, and premises liability litigation. He has represented clients such as Sprouts Farmers Market, Swinerton Builders, and trucking companies in a variety of personal injury lawsuits.
Ryan places emphasis on what it means to be a zealous advocate for one’s client. He has helped to obtain numerous dismissals and favorable settlements for his clients through his style of aggressive advocacy, persuasive writing skills, and ability to develop abstract and original solutions when presented with complex procedural issues.
He attended Texas Tech University for his B.A., M.B.A., and J.D. During law school Ryan participated in advocacy competitions where he was a two-time consecutive moot court quarter finalist and served as an Article Editor for the Business & Bankruptcy Law Journal. He clerked for a bankruptcy firm in Lubbock, Texas as well as a medical malpractice firm in Austin.
Ryan is a native Austinite and has enjoyed beginning his legal career around his family and friends. When he is not in the office he enjoys traveling, hiking, and skiing. He also loves going to local live music events, paddle boarding Lake Austin, and taking his dog to Zilker Park.
