Sophie is an associate in Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP’s San Diego office. She represents defendants in a variety of personal injury, construction defect, and medical malpractice related cases. Sophie strives to be the best advocate for her clients and believes this can be achieved through tenacity, integrity, loyalty, and dedication.
Sophie was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Bond University, located in sunny Queensland, Australia. Sophie then went on to return to Canada to be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Law Society of Alberta in 2020. Later, Sophie moved to San Diego, California, where she now calls home, to obtain her Master of Laws degree in Comparative Law. Sophie’s diverse professional and educational background give her a unique perspective which she uses to enhance all aspects of her practice.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys travelling, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. Sophie also loves animals and is involved in various local animal shelter and rehabilitation organizations.
