Meet Tina M. Smith

Tina M. Smith

Tina is an Associate in the Orlando office of Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP with a primary focus in handling construction defect claims and construction litigation matters.

Tina takes extreme pride in her work, from being responsive to clients to her attention to detail.  She feels her compassion for her community pours over into her work making her a hard worker ready to go above and beyond for clients.  Before joining KNCH, Tina represented clients in Commercial and Residential Real Estate matters and feels that the knowledge gained from that experience will allow her to better handle all aspects of her position at KNCH.  Tina also gained valuable litigation experience from being a previous Assistant State Attorney.

As a true Floridian, Tina has a passion about giving back to her community.  At a very young age her parents instilled in her the value of helping others. She experienced what it was like to work with the homeless, disabled and even with abandoned animals.  Her true passion lies with educating and mentoring young people about the importance of treating animals humanely.  From the age of fifteen, Tina has volunteered her time with an organization based out of London called Dreamflight.  The organization is a charity that brings children with physical or mental disabilities to Florida for a vacation of a lifetime.  This charity is the heart of Tina and shows the compassion that she has for children.

Growing up in Central Florida, Tina attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies.  After graduating from UCF, Tina pursued her legal interests by attending Florida A&M University College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree. Tina was the first in her family to obtain a college degree and earned both degrees while continuing to work full time.  Tina feels that the sacrifices she made were well worth it.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys time with her husband, her three rescued dogs and two rescued cats.  She also enjoys curling up by the pool with a good book.
