Meet Valentine C. Vidal

Valentine C. Vidal

During their time at Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP, Val has gained experience in many aspects of the litigation process including discovery, depositions, arbitrations, and motion work.  They represent a variety of companies and focuses primarily on insurance defense and premises liability.  Val also represents children affected by abuse and neglect volunteering with the Children’s Attorneys Project through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.

Val is a firm believer in the importance of knowing every aspect of KNCH client’s cases, both legal and factual.  As a result, they have successfully identified novel legal issues of insurance law directly affecting their client’s liability, saving them from potential loss.  Val is further dedicated to the art of persuasive writing and storytelling through motion work, and genuinely enjoys drafting.

Val was raised in the deep of the Ozarks, in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. Growing up Val was an active athlete participating in gymnastics, cross country, football, and baseball.  In their free time, Val also enjoys playing the piano, the harp and has over a decade of classical vocal training in Italian, Latin, French and German.  Val’s love of all things has given them a wide body of experience to draw upon, and they love finding new and interesting issues to explore.

They attended undergrad at the University of Missouri, where Val earned their BA in Philosophy.  Val then attended the University of Missouri School of Law, where they made the Dean’s List before ultimately completing their degree at Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas.  After graduation Val clerked for the Honorable Ronald J. Israel of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada.

Outside of work, Val and their husband enjoy traveling to new cities and diving into different cultures and experiencing new foods.  When they’re not traveling, they enjoy staying active, and loves stealing any chance to get away for a weekend hike with their black lab, Daisy.
