Position entails case management on large and complex files, law and motion and civil discovery practice. Data/Analysis experience a plus. Office Manager / Legal Assistant

OVERVIEW: Koeller Nebeker Carlson & Haluck, LLP is seeking an organized, dependable and experienced full-time Office Manager/Legal Assistant with at least 5 years of experience to perform a variety of duties for the Phoenix, AZ office. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Maintain office operations and procedures
- Partner with HR to maintain compliance of office policies as necessary
- Manage internal staff relations
- Coordinate with the IT department on all office equipment and programs
- Manage vendor, building management and service provider relationships
- Evaluate and manage staff performance including monthly billable hours

OVERVIEW: The Phoenix office of Koeller Nebeker Carlson & Haluck, LLP, is growing and is adding a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This is an in-person position with flexibility. We are seeking an exceptional paralegal that works proficiently and effectively while assisting attorneys in all phases of the case. The paralegal will be responsible for working with the team and will take on significant matter management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated, proactive, organized individual with superior analytical ability, judgment, and research skills as well as the desire to provide exceptional client service. We’re looking for a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, and the highest degree of professionalism. Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:- Substantive knowledge of the litigation process and rules of procedure.
- Ability to manage large litigation matters from inception through trial.
- Draft disclosures, discovery, and other legal documents for attorney review.
- Prepare exhibits for attorney use at depositions and as attachments to motions.
- Maintain and organize case and witness files.
- Communicate with investigators, expert witnesses, counsel, and clients about obtaining discovery and other case related issues.
- Ability to analyze and summarize case information and evidence for attorney review, including medical records.
- Prepare initial drafts of status reports to clients.
- Ability to perform substantive research.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in paralegal or legal studies from an accredited college or university program preferred.
- Minimum of four years litigation experience.
