Hard Fought Victory in Phoenix for KNCH Attorneys

Congratulations are in order to Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck Partner Bill Nebeker, Attorney Scott Pehoushek, Paralegal Janelle Nebeker and Legal Assistant Jenna Colley for the great result after the jury’s verdict in a 10 day jury trial in Maricopa County Arizona Superior Court.  The jury’s verdict was the culmination of  a case that had been in litigation for 4 years.

Prior to trial, Plaintiffs’ attorneys asked for several hundred thousand dollars in settlement.  The defense offered $35,000 two years before trial.  During trial, Plaintiff’s attorneys asked the jury to award in excess of 2 million dollars, the jury was out less than 90 minutes and returned a verdict of $18,354.25.  It was a long and hard fought battle and thanks to the hard work of all involved we were able to prove to the jury that the inflated claims and allegations were baseless and unwarranted.
