Pete is a partner at Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP working in the Sacramento and Irvine offices. He specializes in litigation and arbitration in a wide array of practice areas. Pete is a sophisticated and experienced litigator who represents Fortune 500 companies (Home Depot, Staples and others), closely-held businesses, trucking companies and their employees, and individuals. He handles a breadth of cases, with specific emphasis in defending business owners, municipalities, contractors, developers, insurers, trucking companies and landlords in claims involving personal injuries, residential and commercial construction projects, insurance disputes and landlord/tenant conflicts.
With over 20 years of litigation and arbitration experience, Pete has successfully defended and prosecuted complex disputes before arbitration panels and federal and state courts in a number of jurisdictions. His philosophy has always been the same; achieve specific client objectives in the most efficient manner possible. To that end, he works to resolve cases early on, but will litigate through trial, if necessary.
Pete completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA majoring in history, then traveled to our nation’s capitol to attend law school at George Washington University Law School, where he learned the power of the law while representing indigent clients seeking disability benefits before Administrative Law judges.
When not in his office or a courtroom, Pete is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys surfing, snowboarding, hiking, basketball and keeping up with his three young daughters.
